Mother Nellie!

Nellie LOVES to play with her baby dolls and she has been known to line them up and feed them and talk to them. The other day Chad went upstairs and found her reading to them. She had them all lined up on the floor next to her bed and she was sitting in her stroller and reading a book to them like her teacher does at school. Here are a few pictures that he was able to get before she realized he was behind her. She is such a mother sometimes, she has even been heard talking to them and telling them them to stop being naughty.

Visitor

A couple of weekends ago Karen come and visit them and they got to meet their new cousin Helena who is only 3 months old. The kids enjoyed the visit from their Aunt who they hadn't seen since they came to live with us. Grandma Linda says that Helena looks like Nellie when she was a baby.

Teamwork

This is what I call teamwork, yesterday the kids were outside playing and Wesley wanted to know if the dog poop had been cleaned up yet. I had told him that I had not done it yet and would work on it later. The next thing I knew when I looked outside Wesley and Nellie were outside working together to get the dog poop picked up. I had told them that they didn't have to pick up the poop, but they said that they were having fun. Wesley told me that he was going to clean up the poop every time he went out back to play. Oh to be a kid, as this is a job that I hate doing.

Toothless Wonder

Sorry it has been awhile since I have blogged. This past week we have had some sick people in our house. On Monday Wesley and Rakel were home sick and they are still fighting off the colds that they got. Tuesday Wesley went back to school and came home with one of his front teeth missing, he was so excited. Well then as the week went on his other tooth came loose and he let Chad pull it on Sunday night. Here are some pictures of our toothless wonder.
