Well our first Christmas is done now and we are working on getting the house put back together. The kids enjoyed themselves a great deal. We started Christmas Eve out at the Fiala's house with my family and then headed over to Chad's mom and dad's for the rest of the evening. We finally made it home around 11PM that night. The kids were so excited that when we got home Nellie was still going 100mph. We were woke up by Wesley on Christmas morning around 7AM as he was wanting to open his Santa presents. He had to wait for Nellie to get up and she slept in until almost 8:30AM. The kids were so excited as Santa brought them a gumball machine and Wesley got his hair gel and hairspray that he asked for. To say the least we really enjoyed our first Christmas as a family.

Snow Day!
Well today Bellevue Schools canceled due to the sleet/ice that we got last night. Wesley has been patiently waiting to be able to go outside and play in his new snow boots, so we bundled them up and out they went while dad cleaned the sidewalk and driveway off. They had so much fun playing outside in the snow. Wesley was no-stop the whole time he was out there and Nellie on the other hand took some time before she was comfortable playing.

Recent Happenings
Well It has been awhile since I updated, so here are some of the things that we have been doing for the past month. The Saturday after Thanksgiving Grandma and Papa Shade came over for dinner and then decorated cookies with the kids that I had made earlier in the day. There are some pictures of the kids with Grandma and Papa decorating the cookies, I am not sure how much got on the cookies rather then the kid's hands.
On December 6th we celebrated Nellie's 3rd birthday, we had our family and close friends come over to help her celebrate. Nellie got lots of nice things, and really enjoyed her birthday cake. She had picked out which cupcake she was going to have before the party even started and of course it was the one with all the frosting on it.
